Welcome to another weekend of great content on Howfana. It’s the second half of the year and if you’re like me you’ve started thinking seriously about the end of the year. I am trying to have the most regret-free end of the year. Actually, I have this thing where I make up my mind how I want to feel at the end of a day, a year, or an activity. In my experience, it works. So I’m trying to decide how I want to feel and maybe this is something you should try out yourself.
Because of our ambitions, some of us have taken up several projects this year. We’re currently in July and I want to be sure that I am not spreading my resources (time, focus, money…) too thin. Who wants to get to the end of the year feeling like they squandered their energy on the wrong projects and activities? In my experience, December’s regrets usually come from failing to use the year to cultivate certain habits or accumulating work for a particular objective. So it comes down to wishing I had spent every day patiently chipping away at a goal, but which goal?
Let’s all ask ourselves this and other related questions because we have less than six months left. Besides we all deserve some feeling of fulfillment at the end of the year.
